“Rigoletto d’Argento” prize for Chef de Cave Luigi Bersini

The appointment with “Rigoletto d’Argento”, the annual award ceremony of important people who had worked with coherence and commitment in the alimentary culture, is at its 20th edition this year.

It was born by an idea of Luigi Bortolotti and the Italian Sommelier Association of Mantua, shared by AIS Lombardy Delegation. This prestigious award has been assigned at prestigious personalities of the food service, oenology and food & wine journalism such as Gualtiero Marchesi, Nadia Santini, Enzo Vizzari, Bruno Gambacorta, Patrizio Roversi, Mattia Vezzola, and many others.

This year 2 personalities of oenologist world have received this coveted award: Andrea Faustini, oenologist by Cavit (Trento) and our oenologist Luigi Bersini, “for his excellent ability to interpret Franciacorta conferring value to the vineyards of Monte Orfano”. Luigi is the pride of our Franciacorta Estate Castello Bonomi, coordinator in the vineyards and Chef de Cave. We are proud to celebrate his dedication and commitment in Castello Bonomi. Chapeau!
