Castello Bonomi produces some “IGP Sebino” wines, red or white wines, not sparkling but as noble as “Franciacorta” sparkling ones.
Conte Foscari is a red IGP Sebino. A real “earl” (conte means earl in fact) in its class.
Colour
The colour of this wine is an attractive ruby red with violet hues.
Bouquet
Conte Foscari give off scents of red fruits like cherry, blackberry, plum, and then wild fruits of the forest.
Taste
It is succulent, with a good body and full, slightly vinous flavour. It is complex with the herbaceous notes due to the strong presence of Cabernet. Pleasant when young, it will surprise you in the long term with a positive evolution.

Wine-making
Maceration on the skins: Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon for over 21 days, Barbera and Nebbiolo for 10 days. At the end of alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel, we proceed to the blend of the four different wines. Maturation takes place in used oak barrels for 12 months.
Refinement in the bottle
The wine is refined in the bottle for several months.
Combination
Excellent with red meat.
Consumption prospects
The wine is ready to drink. If suitably stored, it may age for a medium long period (5/10 years).
