At Ristorante Tajer d’Oro, the love for Venetian tradition and the search for wines that can enhance its flavors come together in a common goal.

Our Franciacorta wines have been chosen by the historic Tajer d'Oro restaurant in Chiarano (TV) to complement the typical fish dishes of Venetian cuisine.
Enrico, along with his brother Gianpaolo, has been running the family restaurant since 1994. Established in 1982, the restaurant's strength lies in its traditional Venetian seafood cuisine with occasional modern reinterpretations. The goal of Tajer d'Oro is to serve high-quality products while respecting their characteristics without distorting them, welcoming guests in a modern and well-kept environment.
How important is the territory in your restaurant?

Our cuisine is based 80% on seasonal ingredients, so the territory is very important for us. Our fish comes from Caorle and Chioggia, our meat from a little farm in Mareno di Piave, and our vegetables from small farms very close to our restaurant. So, everything is local and sustainable.
How will you define the connection between food and wine?

The connection is strong, one complements the other: a great dish needs a great wine that enhances and valorizes the flavors

What is the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about Franciacorta Castello Bonomi?

It brings to mind a delightful discovery made many years ago. Enchanted by its aromas, we were among the first to propose it and believe in the product. I would say that today, Castello Bonomi has become a certainty for us, synonymous with quality and continuous improvement.
