In the vineyard
CruPerdu Brut Millesimato is crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes harvested in the same vintage. The meticulous grape selection takes place throughout the first half of August.

In the Cellar
After a gentle pressing to extract only the best juice (mosto fiore), vinification occurs using cold techniques that enhance the aromas and finesse of the wine. The Pinot Nero undergoes the first fermentation and then matures for about 8 months in thermo-conditioned stainless steel tanks.
It is later blended with the Chardonnay, which has undergone fermentation in small oak barrels for approximately 8 months. CruPerdu then evolves and matures on the lees for over 36 months.

Tasting Notes
CruPerdu exhibits a bright and vibrant yellow color. On the nose, prominent notes of white flesh fruit and tropical fruit emerge, which gradually give way to balsamic sensations over time. On the palate, it surprises with a fresh yet complex taste, revealing the wine’s great potential for aging. It offers excellent balance and a delicate perlage.

Plus
In the summer of 1986, Luigi Bersini, the Chef de Cave of Castello Bonomi, while leaving the vineyards and heading towards the woods, spotted some vine plants hidden among ivy and wild shrubs. He discovered that over the years, the forest had taken over a portion of land, concealing an old vineyard. This lost vineyard, the CruPerdu, gives its name to this splendid cuvée.
